New members join following the 24th CAA General Assembly in Rwanda

The National Order of Cameroonian Architects and Papua New Guinea Institute of Architects become CAA members

National Order of Cameroonian Architects (NOAC)

The Commonwealth Association of Architects is pleased to announce that the National Order of Cameroonian Architects (NOAC) has recently become a member. Seen here with CAA President Steven Oundo, is NOAC President Jean-Christophe Ndongo (to Steven’s right) together with members of the Cameroonian delegation to the 24th CAA Symposium and General Assembly which took place in Kigali, Rwanda, on 22 August 2024.

Speaking during the General Assembly in Kigali, NOAC President Jean-Christophe Ndongo said “Cameroon, a Commonwealth member since November 1, 1995, is pleased to become a member of the CAA in order to help promote equality between English and French-speaking architects, facilitate knowledge sharing with other CAA members, and enhance continuing education and opportunities for Cameroonian architects.”

Papua New Guinea Institute of Architects (PNGIA)

The CAA is also pleased to welcome back the Papua New Guinea Institute of Architects (PNGIA). Following its readmission PNGIA President, Jordan Tegabwasa, said: “Joining the CAA will provide the PNGIA access to a well-connected network of professionals coming together to discuss key industry topics such as building code compliance, education, CPD, sustainability, climate change and other day-to-day challenges Architects face in the profession.”
